These website terms do not govern a paid subscription. Paid descriptor services are provided under a separate agreement presented at sign-up, which sets out pricing, term, renewal, cancellation and service commitments. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement controls.

If you are a business and something we publish about you is wrong, write to info@arkonyk.com with the subject line “Listing correction”. We will investigate and correct or remove inaccurate information promptly.
The sites, their design, text, graphics and software are owned by Arkonyk or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may read, print and share our pages for your own business use, with attribution and without modification. You may not republish substantial parts commercially without written permission.
If you submit content — a merchant profile, a correction, a comment — you keep ownership of it, and you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it as part of the service. You confirm you have the right to give us that content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

We refer to these marks only to describe the programmes and services our products work alongside. Arkonyk is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or certified by any card network or any other company named on our sites. Descriptions of network programmes are our own reading of publicly available information and are not authoritative — the network’s own published rules govern.
Our calculators do arithmetic on figures you enter. They are illustrations, not forecasts, quotes or guarantees of performance. Results depend entirely on your inputs and on assumptions you can change. Actual outcomes depend on factors outside our control, and nothing produced by a calculator forms part of any contract.
Our sites, reports, articles and calculators are general information about the payments industry. They are not legal, regulatory, compliance, accounting, tax or financial advice, and they do not create a professional relationship. Card network rules change and our summaries may not be current. Take your own advice, and check the applicable network rules, before acting on anything you read here.
We link to sites we do not control and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the sites and everything on them are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy. We do not warrant that the sites will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arkonyk and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of the sites — whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability arising from the sites will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100) or, if you have paid us fees, the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim — whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify Arkonyk against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the sites, or content you submit.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Erie County, Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when. Material changes will be posted with reasonable prominence. Continuing to use the sites after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
