DRI* is the prefix of Digital River, a global ecommerce company that sells software, games and electronics on behalf of brands, as merchant of record. Its MyCommerce platform (formerly share-it and RegNow) serves smaller software publishers.

The brand you bought from follows the asterisk, e.g. DRI*GRAHLSOFTWARE.COM. The most common surprise DRI* charge is an automatic yearly renewal of antivirus or utility software.
