What Does EB * Mean on My Credit Card Statement?

EB * is Eventbrite, the ticketing marketplace used by independent event organisers. Eventbrite's help pages say ticket purchases show as EB * [event title], usually followed by SAN FRANCISCO CA — Eventbrite's headquarters, not where the event is.

Organisers see different descriptors (EB *Payin for event, EB* EVENT LISTING FEE).
